Do I need SOL in my wallet?

Yes, all interactions with the platform will require a small amount of SOL for the gas fees on the blockchain.

I have paid some SOL while creating an account on Velocity. What is this?

Creating an account on Velocity requires a small, one-time SOL rent deposit to pay for its on-chain storage. This rent is reclaimable: delete the account and the rent is returned to your wallet.

Before deleting an account, make sure:

• You don’t have any open borrows on your account. You can check that on the ‘Balances’ page.
• You don’t have any unsettled PnL. If you have any, settle it first.
• Your account balance is at zero (withdraw any remaining balances from Velocity).

Once your account meets these conditions, you can delete it and reclaim your rent from your Accounts Page .

I deposited into Velocity and it’s not showing up in my balance.
